Adult Sacraments and Becoming Catholic

God has been stirring something in your heart. We are so thankful that you are open to seeking out more information as you discern your next steps on your faith journey.

There is no question that is “off-limits” for the Catholic Church.

There is no person who cannot find their “fit” in the Catholic Church.

There is no person whom Jesus isn’t calling to find Him more fully in the Catholic Church.

WELCOME

For those of you who are considering becoming Catholic, your first step is to reach out to us, as we would love to get to know more about you!

A first step is a process of inquiry into the Catholic faith. This is an opportunity to ask your questions and share with others in a relaxed environment as you begin to discern your next steps on your faith journey.

If you were baptized Catholic as a child or teen, and would like to learn more about the process of receiving the Sacraments of either Confession and Communion or Confirmation, please continue to check us out on the Adult Confirmation Sacraments tab.

Those who desire to continue to learn more about living and become Catholic will enter into a process called the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA).  RCIA allows for space to ask questions, to grapple with answers, and prayerfully discern entrance into the Catholic Faith. The RCIA process can take anywhere from several months to a year or more if nessecary.

The goal of the RCIA process is to grow in your love and awareness of God, to begin to build your relationship with God and to learn how the Catholic Faith community lives that call.
