From Laura Escalera:
Update on Deacon Steve–
It has been an extremely difficult 5 days. In a nutshell, the liver that was transplanted on Wednesday was not viable. He went through many surgeries and it was touch and go for a couple of days. Fortunately he was able to receive a second transplant on Saturday night. So far it appears to be working. He is much more stable. Please pray for both donors and their families, the incredible staff here at UCHealth and for Steve.
Please also pray for Laura and the Escalera Family.
